| Principal Duties: | Responsible for loading and unloading freight onto trucks and trailers in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations.
Ensure correct grouping of different commodities, and correct handling of packages with special markings. Attend to required paperwork, including bills of lading, other documents and reports. Counting and checking freight to ensure that it corresponds with bill of lading, reporting overages, shortages and damages. May require moving trucks within the yard, hooking and unhooking trailers. May perform very minimal clerical/administrative tasks. Other duties as assigned. |
| Minimum Requirements: | Completion of secondary school.
General fitness and physical strength. Full time position - Available for various shifts/hours Part time position suitable for students (afternoon and evening shifts) and availability for various shifts/hours. . |
| Preferred Requirements: | Class 1 Driver's licence an asset. |
