Job Title: Desktop Support
Location: Winnipeg
Principal Duties: Providing IT support and technical recommendations on a variety of LAN, WAN, Client/Server and Desktop issues in respect to the ongoing operation of the IT organization.

Working closely with internal customers in support of over 400 network-attached and standalone devices including Desktop PC's, Laptops, Printers, Scanners and Thin-Clients.

Act as First and Second Level support for all Reimer direct Help Desk calls placed to the corporate Help Desk.

Working with maintenance and repair vendors as required.

Managing all moves, adds and changes of equipment.

Maintaining all technical and administrative documentation.

Resolving all issues in a timely, accurate and customer-focused manner.

Maintaining the computerized asset inventory (Service Center).

Coordinating and conducting annual inventories.

Working with the Internal Auditor in the completion of facility spot audits.

Monitoring of server health on a daily basis.

Upgrading of all software and hardware to maintain manufacturer recommendations for software and hardware versions, patch levels, etc. as required by vendors and as directed by the Director, Finance/IT.

Other duties as assigned.

Works entirely in the Winnipeg Inkster Park Campus.
Minimum Requirements: Completion of secondary school.

Must possess appropriate Microsoft Certifications MCDST, MCSA/MCSE, or equivalent.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
